Baby Victoratos’ Birth
Josi made my pregnancy so much more than I could have imagined. This was my first pregnancy and I was so scared of the unknown… so many questions and fears. The media has so much overconsumption that being pregnant in this day and age is so frightening. The education and reassurance Josi provided me throughout my pregnancy and postpartum was so refreshing. Not only did she do a great job at being an educator, she did an amazing job at building a relationship between herself and I so I felt comfortable with her during this vulnerable journey. You can tell when someone is pursing a career with their heart and that is exactly what she does! I wish I could put into words how thankful I am to have met this woman. Not only is Josi a phenomenal doula but she is also an amazing friend. I will never have to wonder who will be my next doula because without a doubt I will need her by my side for every pregnancy journey I endure.

In a world of too much information- you need someone knowledgeable to help guide you through this journey- and keep you on the side of truth and love.
We are spiritual people and this was a religious experience. It’s important to have an expert to guide you through it. I’m not just talking about the birth.
Information without overload. Every piece is important and has impact- if she gives you a printout- save it. It’s very useful. Even for the experienced. I cannot tell you how many times I referred back to the printouts.
This is a one person team. How Josi manages to find her place in an ever changing environment is beyond amazing. Despite the best laid plans, things can change and often do- Josi recalibrates and finds her purpose(s) seamlessly.
Her care is genuine. She truly loves what she does and it shows every time. She is compassionate yet clever and fun.
Communication is amazing. Every question answered promptly with supportive data if necessary. She knows her way around and is available for you as promised. (Maybe a little more) It is sad not having her around as often because she feels like family.
There are tons of great surprises that I don’t want to spoil but- her attention to detail is laser focused with a cool calm that radiates to everyone.
Speaking of calm. That really needs to be mentioned. Josi literally radiates calm-but when advocating for her clients- Her authority is powerful, fact-based, client-centred and firm- rendering her opponents powerless. The first time I saw it- after months of soaking in her vacation-like calmness - I was a tad shocked. And impressed.
I cannot imagine this without her.
God made her to do this. Let her.
